Kevin S. VanderWerff Sr.

Prior to coming to Keith Barton & Associates, Kevin S. VanderWerff Sr. worked as corporate in-house counsel for a local technology company in Sandy, Utah. He has experience in business law, bankruptcy law, insurance defense, criminal law, and personal injury law.  He currently focuses his efforts in the area of criminal defense.

Kevin graduated with his Bachelor degree in Business Management from Utah Valley State College in 1998.  Kevin attended law school at Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska and was a visiting student at the J. Reuben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 2001 from Creighton University. During law school, he clerked for the Federal Defender of Nebraska, David R. Stickman, where he learned the great importance of protecting constitutional rights of all citizens. While in law school, he served as president of the Intellectual Property Law Society.

Kevin is licensed to practice in the State of Utah.
